Nobels X-1

Based on the Tom Scholtz ‘Rockman’, the Nobels X-1 Guitar Headphone Amp and effects unit is housed in a sturdy metal casing and has three ‘clean’ settings, one ‘overdrive’ setting and one ‘distortion’ setting, good quality variable stereo delay and chorus (which goes from a shimmer to full-on '80s OTT-ness), effects loop, noise gate and compressor. It can be connected to a guitar amp or mixer for use without headphones and there’s a music source input so you can play along to your favourite tracks.

Switches & pots slightly scratchy. Requires 6v PSU.
