Simmons SDS 8 'Electronic Drums' Analog Drum Synthesizer
The original Simmons SDS 8 Analog Drum Synthesizer developed to be used in conjunction with the matching Simmons Pads; the SDS 8 is essentially a 5 channel analog synthesizer with bassdrum, snare and 3 toms. Each channel features a unalterable factory sound and a variable user sound. Featuring a sequencer input, single outputs for each voice and stereo master output.
The SDS 8 comes with the same analog filters of its predecessor, the SDS 5, forgoing certain luxuries like user banks, midi or modularity for the ultimate no fuss, just drums, simplicity.
