Ibanez 2650-CS LP Custom - Set Neck 🇯🇵
Rare vintage 1970s Ibanez 2650 Custom post "lawsuit" era featuring an incredibly rare set neck with ebony fretboard, "pancake" body consisting of mahogany & maple, 3 piece maple neck. Made in Japan.
The post open-book headstock is showing checking and character, buckle rash, binding rot. Bridge has been replaced with a newer ABR-1 style bridge. Considerable binding rot around the edges and cool mojo dings all over. Modified with Gold stoptail & vintage 70s Gotoh PAF humbucker that look like DiMarzio Super Distortions but aren't!
Setup instore prior to sale with Ernie Ball Regular Slinkies & playing great. Refretted with massive jumbos too!
