1958 Silvertone (Kay) 1369L Jimmy Reed Model - (K-161 Thin Twin) 🇺🇸

1958 Silvertone (Kay) 1369L Jimmy Reed Model - (K-161 Thin Twin) 🇺🇸

Rare 1958 Silvertone 1369L made in Chicago by Kay featuring maple top, back and sides with large centre block to combat unwanted feedback - this model walks the knife's edge of solid body and semi-hollow. Floating trapeze tailpiece, non floating wooden bridge, ornate pickguard designs, original 1950s Klusons, mini (and we mean mini) lipstick single coils with LP-style controls all wrapped up in a lovely double bound cherry sunburst. All original aside from just one strap pin.

Made in USA.

Includes non original case.

Switch tip is a little loose however perfectly stable. Strap pin has been moved around before on the body and finally settled on a Gibson-style placement and with only one headstock screw missing; this Silvertone is in fantastic shape with plenty of meat left in the frets.
