1964 Transparent Red Custom Order Burns 'Black' Bison - Made in UK w/ OHSC

1964 Transparent Red Custom Order Burns 'Black' Bison - Made in UK w/ OHSC

1964 Burns Black Bison in uber-rare Transparent Red. A devilishly rare piece from Britain's top guitar manufacturer. It sports 3 Ultra-Sonic pickups, wild-dog and split-sound settings, and the Bison's iconic sculpted upper and lower horns.

1 of what was once thought of 3 but now possibly 12 recorded guitars specifically built in the last half of August for Australian export (these red models were all built for the Australian market) just before Burns changed the body shape/upper horn in September of 1964 making this one, one of the last red 'Black Bisons'.

Includes original Stamford hard case.

In incredible condition fit for a museum; this guitar has been photographed in many internationally recognised guitar publications - a truly uber-rare piece of kit! Top!
