YAMAHA AW1600 Digital Recorder
The AW1600 is 16-track desktop hard disk workstation recorder from Yamaha. It is a relatively compact unit for ease of use and transport and is packed with useful features such as 16 and 24 bit recording resolution, 8 XLR/1/4" combo inputs (with phantom power for each), full EQ, dynamics and effects processing and an on board sampler.
It records to an internal 40 GB hard disk and can burn master CD with it's built-in CD-R/RW drive along with data backup functionality. The mixer section features 13 45mm faders, full-featured editing and a backlit LCD display. The built-in USB port allows for seamless file transfer to an external computer for further backup and editing purposes, and the recorder offers full WAV file support.
