EMS Synthi AKS MkII
EMS Synthi AKS portable modular analogue synthesiser made by EMS of England. Most notable for its patch pin matrix, its functions and internal design are similar to the VCS 3 synthesiser.
Fully serviced by Les Craythorne. Modified with two extra inputs located on the underside of the case. The top jack is a 1V trigger input to the Envelope Shaper. The higher I/P is a Gate-In, direct to the two transistors, while the output sends to trigger the Envelope Shaper. In good working condition, the potentiometers all feel smooth (like new) after the clean and lube.
