Abstract Data ADE-50 3x VCA

The ADE-50 features three all-analogue voltage-controlled amplifiers (VCAs) based on a contemporary operational transconductance amplifier design.

These VCAs strike an excellent balance between the performance and specifications of modern on-chip VCAs and the musicality and character of classic analogue designs.

Each VCA's OTA core is fully discrete, constructed solely from resistors, capacitors, and transistors. The CV conditioning, audio input, and output stages are built with high-quality op-amps, providing an optimal mix of musicality, character, and performance.

The ADE-50 ensures a good signal-to-noise ratio, linearity, and attenuation. It achieves an output level at unity gain with a 5V CV input, minimal CV bleed, and minimal output offset/bias.
