1969 Competition Burgundy Fender Mustang w/OHSC

Super groovy 1969 Fender Mustang in Competition Burgundy. Features rosewood fingerboard and a real sharp racing stripe. Made in the USA.

Includes original hard shell case. Output socket replaced - original non-working one included.

Guitar has been re-fretted long, long ago with about 50-60% frets left. Very little lacquer flaking off (which is common of these Competition and 1970s Fenders) and nitro top coat is starting to check nicely. Burgundy burst has faded however blue is still strong not yet green.

'Offset Contour Body' part of decal is missing & nut has been replaced.

Original black tolex case is missing original 'Fender Made in USA' metal badge. Lining of case has been replaced with almost accurate red plush & strap to secure neck in case has also been replaced.
