Vostok Instruments Ceres

The Vostok Instruments Ceres is a high-quality six-channel VCA and mixer.

To counteract a possible VCA emergency, this VCA comes in handy. The basis is a chip based on the CEM 3360, which was used in devices like Roland Jupiter 6 and 8, Synton Syrinx, PPG Wave 2.3, Rhodes Chroma, Moog Memorymoog, Sequential Prophet 600 but also in the Buchla 296 spectral processor. Together with a four-layer PCB design, the result is a super-quiet VCA without noise or bleed.
Daisy-chaining on the input side and mixable outputs create a wide range of options. For example, multiple CV signals can modulate a single sound source and, when mixed together, create entirely new waveforms.
