Cooper FX Outward V2 Digital Sampling Device
The Cooper FX Outward is a versatile multi-mode granular digital sampler that captures, processes, and replays audio in unique ways, making it ideal for creating ambient textures and glitchy effects. The clock knob controls the DSP chip speed, ranging from 10kHz to 60kHz; slower speeds result in a longer sampling buffer but introduce more noise and lower audio quality. An alternate clock mode quantizes the speed to fifths and octaves for precise adjustments. The tone control functions as a low-pass filter, particularly useful for reducing noise at lower DSP speeds. The mix knob balances the dry and processed signals, while the volume knob adjusts the level of the wet signal. Additional modes, presets, and alternative control functions can be accessed via the buttons.
