AKAI S900 Midi Digital Sampler

Released in 1986, the Akai S900 was the brand’s first truly professional rack-mount sampler, offering 12-bit stereo sampling with variable rates from 7.5kHz to 40kHz. It features a built-in disk drive, up to 63 seconds of sample time at the lowest rate, and storage for 32 samples with edits with 750kB of memory. With advanced tools for looping, truncating, tuning, and velocity crossfading, plus individual outs, MIDI, and trigger inputs, the S900 set the stage for the S3000 series and remains a powerful studio workhorse even today.

Fitted with brand new high contrast screen, and an OLED Gotek drive installed. 100 Volt unit - requires step-down transformer for use in Australia. Includes thumb drive & power supply. Fixed memory at 750kB
