The Blackstar HT Studio 20, also known as the HT-20, is a 20-watt tube guitar amplifier that combines versatility with rich tonal quality. It features two ECC83 (12AX7) preamp tubes and two EL34 power amp tubes, delivering a range from clean tones to saturated overdrives. The amp offers two footswitchable channels—Clean and Overdrive—each with dedicated controls. The Clean channel provides a wide range of tones with a single Tone control, while the Overdrive channel includes a three-band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble) and Blackstar's patented Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) control, allowing players to shape their tone from American to British characteristics. Additional features include a master volume, digital reverb, an effects loop with level switch, and a speaker-emulated output for recording or headphone use. The amplifier is equipped with a 12-inch Celestion speaker, contributing to its robust sound output.
