1962 Pre-L Series Fender Jazzmaster - Olympic White (Refin)

1962 Pre-L Series Fender Jazzmaster - Olympic White (Refin)

All original near-mint condition pre-CBS 1962 Pre-L-Series Fender Jazzmaster in Olympic White with Tortoiseshell pickguard. Features full 25.5" Fender scale length, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, clay fingerboard and side-dot inlays, patent number tremolo with original arm.

An incredibly well preserved example of the pinnacle of Fender guitar manufacturing. The frets show next to no fret wear, and the finish on the neck is worn in nicely. Light checking across the refinished body, and some finish dings on the top of the guitar but nothing getting in the way.

Made in Fullerton, California (USA).

Strap pins have been replaced with Schaller style. Pencil dates neck to April, 1962.

All original aside from professional refinish done long ago that has weathered authentically, as nitro does, just like the real thing.

Includes non original G&G USA Made Fender-branded hardshell case in black tolex with cherry red crushed velvet lining as well as original vibrato arm.

Set up profesionally prior to sale by Jeb Carbwell with a low action, no rattle or buzz & with 10-46 Rotosounds
