1984 Marshall 2203 Master Model Lead Mk2 100W head built in the UK, part of the first JCM800 era of single channel master volume amps. The 2203 design itself dates back to the late '70s and was rebadged into the JCM800 line in 1981, becoming a standard for hard rock and metal. It's a straightforward 100 watt head with one channel, high and low sensitivity inputs, three band EQ plus presence and a master volume.

  • Speaker outputs 2 Ă— 1/4 inch jacks selectable 4 / 8 / 16 ohm

Loaded with 4 x Sovtek 5881 power valves & 3 x knobs replaced. Some screws replaced and tolex has seen better days.

Used extensively by legendary Australian band Guttersnipes live & for almost all recordings.

Includes 2 x original knobs (cracked).
