












Marks Bros. Mandolin
An antique 'A' style mandolin made in Brunswick, Victoria a couple of streets over on Sydney Rd. The body and neck are made of mahogany, the neck sporting a hard v profile with the standard four courses of strings in violin tuning (G, D, A, E from lowest to highest pitch). A great collectors item, this mandolin is believed to be near a hundred years old and a charming relic of early 20th century Melbourne.
It is believed that the bridge is non-original though it's hard to say for certain.
