The Akai Professional MPK249 is a 49-key MIDI controller that combines a semi-weighted, full-size keyboard with MPC-style pad performance and hands-on control. The keybed supports velocity and aftertouch for expressive playing, with octave controls to access the full range.
MPK249 also brings core MPC workflow features into a keyboard format, including MPC Swing, Note Repeat, Full Level, and 16 Levels for beat programming and melodic work. An onboard arpeggiator with adjustable resolution, range, and patterns adds further flexibility, making the MPK249 a solid centrepiece for software-based production and performance setups.
