AJH Synth Mini Mod Transistor Ladder Filter

The MiniMod VCF is a faithful recreation of the 24 dB per octave transistor ladder low-pass filter from the early Model D, closely following the original circuit and behaviour. It features a three-channel input mixer, a large cutoff control, and dedicated CV inputs that replicate the original keyboard tracking options, allowing accurate 1/3, 2/3, or full tracking responses.

In addition to manual resonance control, the filter includes voltage-controlled resonance using a fast vactrol, enabling modulation up to audio rates. The circuit will self-resonate and can function as a sine wave oscillator. An internal jumper-selectable overdrive allows the filter core to be driven harder for added saturation and harmonic colour.
