Effectrode TF-2A Mercury Space Charge Fuzz

The Effectrode Mercury is a hybrid valve fuzz that combines a dual-triode vacuum tube with vintage crystal diodes to create a wide range of harmonically rich drive and distortion sounds. Two tube stages generate warm, even-order harmonics before the signal is shaped by diode clipping to add bite and upper harmonic content, giving it a blend of fullness and edge. The result is a highly dynamic fuzz that can move from low-gain, amp-like overdrive to dense, saturated distortion with long, smooth sustain. At lower settings it cleans up naturally from the guitar’s volume control while retaining clarity and string definition. A bias switch lets you alter the feel and response of the second tube stage for different textures and compression.
