Its fully weighted 88-note keyboard brings together the sound engines of Yamaha’s CP stage piano and YC stage keyboard, delivering a broad, performance-ready palette in one instrument. Boasting acoustic and electric pianos, strings and brass, a dedicated organ section, and contemporary synth tones, all accessible through a streamlined interface designed to keep you playing, not menu diving. Integrated effects let you shape and personalise your sound, while the Analogue to Digital input allows you to connect a microphone or external instrument, process it with onboard effects and record straight to your laptop. With onboard speakers and battery power, the CK88 is built to move with you, wherever the music happens.

CK features piano sounds from three legendary Yamaha grands: the CFX, S700 and CF3, plus the character-rich U1 upright piano from the Yamaha YC Series. “Digi Piano” sounds let you get your 90s dance party on. There’s also a selection of vintage electric piano sounds in both the reed and tine style, funky Clavi sounds and the classic 80s DX7-style FM electric pianos Yamaha helped make famous. In organ land you've got everything from 60s surf textures to smooth R&B, gospel and beyond. The dedicated organ section is based on the Yamaha reface YC and offers five distinct organ types, complete with rotary speaker effect, percussion and an enhanced vibrato and chorus section. Nine physical drawbars give you immediate, hands-on control, alongside dedicated controls for rotary speed, percussion and vibrato or chorus, making it easy to shape classic tones in real time. The CK also gives you a range of synth sounds without the complex menus. You get analogue style pads, leads and basses, synth brass, strings and pads. Even synth bells and textures to add to your synth sound palette. All with modern synth controls to tweak your sound without menu diving.

CK’s effects section is built for shaping and personalising your sound. It features dedicated Drive, Effects 1 and Effects 2 processors, plus two effects for the A/D input. With 36 effects in total, including overdrive and distortion, modulation, delay, reverb, wah, tremolo, EQ and experimental options like ring modulation, slicer and lo-fi, it works like a built-in pedalboard.

Master Delay and Master Reverb each offer multiple types and independent send levels for all three parts and the A/D input, with a Master EQ to fine-tune the overall tone. The A/D input lets you connect a mic or instrument, apply onboard effects, play through the speakers or outputs, and record directly to a computer via USB.

With three parts available, CK allows you to split, layer and blend sounds easily from the front panel for flexible, performance-ready setups.
