2006 Ampeg ADA6 Dan Armstrong Reissue - Lucite

One of the most visually striking electric guitars ever put into production, originally designed in the late 1960s and by Keith Richards, David Bowie, and Lou Reed, and continue to be used today by artists like Josh Homme, John Frusciante, and Dave Grohl. The ADA6 reissue revives that clear acrylic double cut silhouette, complete with bolt on neck and the distinctive modular pickup concept that made the original such a talking point.

Built with a solid lucite body and rosewood fingerboard, the ADA6 delivers long sustain. The fitted ST Sustain Treble pickup is a dual blade, hum cancelling design voiced for a thicker output and extended sustain, particularly suited to modern lead work.

Its unique 3 position tone circuit offers preset style options: centre position bypasses the tone control entirely for maximum clarity, forward position operates as a standard tone roll off, and rear position shifts the frequency emphasis for a different contour.
