








Vintage Matsumoku Epiphone ET-270 Solid-Body Electric Guitar
The Epiphone ET-270 (1802T) is an early ’70s Japanese model built by Matsumoku. Featuring a maple body, bolt-on 3-piece maple neck, rosewood board, 7.25” radius, and 24.75” scale. Electronics comprise of two single-coils, master volume/tone, 3-way switch, plus a bass boost switch that adds output and significant low-end, mimicking P90 volume and tone.
Blending short-scale, Gibson comfort with Fender-esque single-coil tone, it’s easy to see why this model was favoured by Kurt Cobain during the Bleach-era.
