The Goldthwait XII is features a lightweight hoop pine body with New Guinea walnut neck and padauk fretboard. 25" scale with a 12" radius. Hand-wound WRTB humbucking pickups by Lance Amplification (Yarra Valley, Victoria) each featuring 12 magnet poles inspired by vintage Fender WRHBs, under reproduction Thunderbird Bass pickup covers. ABM (Berlin) fully intonatable bridge. Harvester hand made alloy tailpiece. Distressed, faded and bewildered metallic green lacquer.
Used by NYC jazz/noise guitarist Bill Frisell on his Jun 2017 Australian tour. Includes hard shell case.*
